This is a deep dive into Visual development art/Illustration design, which is a key role in the process of making an animated movie and creating whole worlds from scratch that will end up on the big screen and move audiences around the world. 

We have curated this beautiful course for everyone, with assignments ranging from beginner to intermediate level, which will help the participants to bring their ideas to life on the big screen.

 

What you’ll learn

  1. Fundamentals of Visual Development- composition, values, light, and shade

  2. Gesture drawing study

  3. How to use perspective in a composition.

  4. Outdoor color and moodscape study.

  5. Animated film pre-production pipeline- color scripts, treatment, layout, and style frames.

  6. Introduction to illustration- book cover design, editorial illustration, graphic novel illustration.

 

Pre-requisites, and supplies

  • Sketchbooks and drawing materials (basic stationery will be provided)

  • Colour (medium of your choice)

  • Hardboard

  • A3 Sheets of Cartridge paper

  • Digital tools (Laptop and drawing tablet/ iPad) (if you have one)
